On Buttons & Figs we love literary nonsense. For our show, we normally go out and read great literary nonsense to kids at libraries and schools and it’s that nonsense that inspires you to write the nonsense we share on our show.  But since libraries and schools are closed right now, we thought it might be nice to read some of that nonsense here, now.  Because the thing we know about nonsense, is it tickles the mind, which sounds like a pretty good thing at this time.  

Buttons & Figs got its name from an Edward Lear poem, so we’ll start with Lear and go from thear…each day we’ll read a bit nonsense to you…until we’re through.  

Because you what they say….a bit of nonsense each day, goes a long way.
